BikeCalgary is a registered non-profit organization in the province of Alberta. We exist to inform, inspire and encourage commuter & transportation cycling in Calgary. Check out the brochure (PDF) describing our organization and its initiatives.

BikeCalgary directors believe that a collaborative approach is the right one to take in discussions with decision-makers. Due to the small numbers of commuter cyclists at this time (though we're growing all the time!), we feel our best chance of making changes is through persuasion and education of decision-makers. This process takes time, with much of the work taking place behind the scenes.

BikeCalgary receives no government funding at this time, so we rely on the support of cyclists in Calgary. How can you help? By standing for election to the board of directors, by volunteering to work on projects, by purchasing any merchandise we make available, and by making donations: BikeCalgary has no fixed membership fee to cover the cost of its programs and the operation of this website. On this page, there's a button for you to donate. Please give often and generously! If you provide an email or physical address, you will be sent a receipt.
