Photo(s) of the day 100306 - Bow R. wildlife

Much to nice of a day to sit around, so I grabbed my camera and spent the afternoon cruising the bow river bike path, looking for wildlife. For the most part all I found were geese. I road down 17 ave se over Deerfoot and got on the path where it goes under 17ave/Blackfoot tr. from there I headed down past Ft Calgary to the bride just before the detour at the construction. then crossed to the N. side of the river hand headed east to the intersection with the Nose creek path, from there headed N. to the 32 connector, turned around and retraced my path, back to 17 ave, from there I continued S to 50 ave se.I was over this section about a week or so ago when Pinkrobe did his light test.It was frozen single track with ruts back then. Not bad on a mountain bike, but I was on a bent, and almost ended up in the river. Still a couple of iced over spots, but for the most part easy riding now. From 53 I headed over to 11 st se to check out the bike path, someone was asking if it had been cleaned, so I thought I'd find out. From there I headed home to get some food. Enjoy the pics.
Didn't see much on the S side of the river, but found some geese on the N side
