I can confirm, the route along the north side of the river by the zoo is open. Both metal barriers are out of the way and the path is pretty much clear. The detour signage remains further north by the Science Centre, but many of us are riding the route again.

From the east end of the zoo, has anyone kept on going towards the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary or does everyone go north? I was just wondering if the path beside the new weir was open or are is it still "construction traffic only"?

I ride by that path along Blackfoot Trail (17 Ave SE) and I've noticed that the detour signs are still up but there is no barricade blocking the path; however, the city still has this section indicated as closed on their website.

The path along the south side of the bow river is open at least as far east as Pearce Estates Park. I stay south of the river, though, so not sure about anything closer to the zoo than that.
