Filtering: Passing a column of stopped cars on the right or between lanes.
Lane splitting: Riding between lanes.
MUP: Multi-User Pathway, pathways administered by Calgary Parks that are shared by cyclists and pedestrians, e.g., the Bow River pathway.
Running studs: Riding with studded tires
Studs: Studded tires—tires with embedded metal studs to provide extra traction on ice and snow.
Door prize, getting doored: Colliding with the door of a parked car. Best avoided by keeping proper distance from parking lane.
