Alberta’s first World Naked Bike Ride will takes place in Drumheller this Saturday June 13th.

This year marks the 6th annual World Naked Bike Ride, which will occur in more than 70 cities in 28 different countries across the world.

WHAT IS THE WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE?
The World Naked Bike Ride is dedicated to raising awareness about bicycling. It is a peaceful, respectful, non-drinking event that is open to everyone. They are fun, light-hearted events in which participants often dress-up or are body-painted, adding to the festive nature of the occasion.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Everyone is invited to participate in the World Naked Bike Ride. You do not need to sign up. Come with your favourite human-powered transportation, be it a bicycle, skateboard, rollerblades, or a unicycle. Be as bare as you dare, any amount of clothing or lack thereof is welcome.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE RIDE?
The ride starts at 3pm on Saturday, June 13th at The Melting Pot Gallery, 196 1st St W.
