I know there are a handful of us that have helmet cams or other forms of bike-mountable video cameras. At least a couple of us even wear them constantly to document the good and the bad of what we see on the road.
Does anyone out there also use a video camera while biking? If so, do you have any interesting videos to share? Is there any interest in starting a video blog to show people the good and bad of Calgary bike commuting?

well, we already have the Photo of the Day forum topic. Should we just relabel that Photo or Video of the Day?
started on this winter..

have some vid's and pics here... http://www.bikecalgary.org/node/2337 I know there are more. A dedicated thread is a good idea and if possible, put "how to" in the starting topic. For the life of me I cannot get them to show but thankfully mod's fix them. I have tried everything. Youtube, vimeo and so on all seem to vary I think.
Types of cams

In another thread, someone asked about types of cameras available (after nearly being struck by an aggressive driver but had no proof to take to the police). I selected my camera specifically for this purpose:

This unit has a bullet camera that is mounted in my helmet and I stick the DVR unit in my front jacket pocket or side pocket of my backpack. What I like about it is the ability to add a 16 GB SD card for memory (I can record hours of video), the automatic video 'loop' feature (overwrites oldest videos if the memory card fills), the two-hour battery life, and the ability to purchase additional batteries that can be easily swapped out. This unit also comes with all kinds of different mounts and AV cables for recording and playback. My only complaint so far is that the video contrast/quality is low and the cord to the camera is a bit cheap (I already have a loose connection after 4 months of use). Price is very good though.
For the same money, another great option is the Looxcie cam. Another user here has one (ride) and has posted video of it in action. The video quality is noticeably better, although you wear this camera and the battery options are not as good. If I were to buy another unit, however, I would probably go with this one.
I think some one else here has a GoPro camera, which is another population option. Chime in with a description if you feel inclined to share your thoughts.

I have an ATC3K by Oregon Scientific.

It's fairly cheap, but only provides 640x480. The sound is horrendous. I like it because it's just one unit, I use it on my bike and snowboarding. Going to mount it on my motorcycle this summer too.
I'll try to post a vid soon.

I have zero complaints other than editing can be a pain but straight upload to youtube or other is a cinch and quality kicks serious butt. So many mounting options its ridiculous. battery life is 4 hrs and memory depends on size of card which will use the largest (64g?) if you like.
