Hey All
I know many of you cycle over the bow river on 14 st sw and have had close calls with cars that do not yield to peds and bikes. There is a story about it in the Metro today regarding a ped that has been hit twice in this area -

The city's response is predictable - call 3-1-1 or we will do nothing.
Have you had close calls here? Is this pedestrian at fault? Should the city install button operated crossing signals?
I use that spot to merge onto 14th

Every Tuesday evening when traveling from U of C to Stampede park I use that ramp/crosswalk to merge onto 14th southbound. Mostly 'cause I dislike the crosswalk at the south end of the bridge more.
