A nice little CX loop West of the city via Old Banff Coach Road and some road allowances/fields east of springbank. Some gravel, some trails. Goes through a farmer's field: please, please don't scare cattle into running if you do this loop...
Looks like some unknown-to-me mountain biking trails west of the westernmost development of the city between the transcanada and the river...anyone know more about this?
Use "hybrid" or "satellite" mode for best results...

hi Mike, I added a screen-print of your route to your post. Looks interesting, please let us know about those new MTB trails you've found.
thanks

Thanks. If anyone is interested in checking them out, they start right where the route intersects "valley ridge" (or whatever it's called); the westernmost extension of the city north of the transcanada. There's a gravel bus-turn-around cul-d-sac thing and the trails start by heading south towards a big power-poll and the down into a gully/coulee.
Might only be 10 minutes of riding, or several hours ;)
I'm optimistic that something connects westbound from here towards the dam near the water; there are trails further west for sure (near the sandstone boulding area that's west of the dam).
