I am trying to put together a CAN-BIKE 1 course for May but I need at least one additional participant (max 4 more).

CAN-BIKE 1 is an 11-hour course, consisting of a 3-hour classroom session and a full-day on-bike. You will learn how to ride as a vehicle, in light traffic on residential streets. You will also learn bike handling skills, basic bike maintenance, and repair.

This particular offering will also include some information on touring, highway cycling, and route selection.

Will likely be run in North-Central Calgary (near 14th Street NW & John Laurie Blvd). Exact times TBD but tentatively scheduled for Saturday May 19 (10:00am - 1:00pm) and Sunday May 20 (9:00am - 5:00pm).

Cost is $150 per participant. You need to provide your own bike, and helmet. Cycling gloves are highly recommended.
