The 4th Street Lilac Festival will be held on Sunday, May 27 from 10:00 to 16:00. Bike Calgary has secured a table at the festival to promote cycling actvities in the city. We are currently seeking volunteers to help staff the table to talk about bikes, advertise for our Urban Cycling Skills clinic, give out some freebies, and sign up new Bike Calgary members. If you're interested in helping out for an hour or two, please contact Ben Cowie (ward8@bikecalgary.org).

In the past it's been a very large festival, with up to 125,000 attendees (their estimate). This is a great opportunity to reach a large number of people to chat about bikes and spend a fun day in the sun.
