Are there plans to connect the southen end of the Peace Bridge to the bike path?
Right now it only connects to the walking path. Getting to 7th means riding across the muddy hill straight south of the bridge, and if they're really building a bike-lane there I would *presume* they must be planning a cycling connection to the bridge. As it sits now, I suspect technically you're not allowed to ride to the southern terminus as you'd be on the "walking only" portions of the split pathway there.

I would agree that the paths on the south side are underbuilt for the volume of traffic. The Peace Bridge is a vast improvement over the LRT bridge.

Peace Bridge, south side

Almost lost my teeth on the south side of the bridge. After some heavy rainfall last week, clay from the mound just East of the heli-pad washed out on to the path. The front wheel went one way & I used my face as a brake on the pathway (hurt a little). So be careful, with the muddy patches when wet.
