Bike Calgary is pleased to announce its bike partnership with Canadian Mental Health Association – Calgary Region for the virtual Energize Don’t Hide event and summer wellness campaign from June 21 to September 21, 2020. CMHA Calgary’s event is encouraging Canadians to set a fitness goal and challenge others to match your energy!
Begin by registering for Energize Don’t Hide and make a minimum donation of $20 to support continued CMHA Calgary programs and services. Then reach your goal by completing 20 minutes of exercise daily, whether it be indoor or outdoor (running, cycling, static bike, yoga, dance party in your living room etc.), to activate your mental and physical health. Track your daily activity by joining CMHA Calgary’s Strava Club Energize Don’t Hide 2020 Challenge. Don’t forget to challenge and energize your friends, family members and colleagues to match your 2020 Energize Don’t Hide goal.
Support CMHA Calgary
As a result of COVID-19 CMHA Calgary worked quickly to move their Peer Support, Recovery College courses, as well as Family Support and Suicide Bereavement counselling to virtual delivery. Over the past few months, CMHA Calgary staff have been exploring the delivery of online courses as an additional channel of support to the community. The reality of COVID-19 has increased not only the timeline of online delivery, but also their need for different types of technology. Please help support all Calgarians throughout this pandemic.
To stay updated with CMHA Calgary, make sure to follow them on their website (www.cmha.calgary.ab.ca), on social media and share their posts with your network (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).
