Starting September 15, 2022 to mid-December, Bow River Pathways cyclists may experience some delays between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the 900m section of pathway south of 9 Avenue SE, adjacent to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. Please expect most delays to be 5 to 8 minutes, and the maximum delay would be 15 minutes. There will be flag personnel on site to direct pathway users and the construction equipment. For safety, please follow the direction of the flag personnel.
These delays will allow construction vehicles to safely deliver materials for the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary Reconnection Project. This project will restore healthy ecosystems and habitats and protect the Sanctuary from future flooding.
