DESCRIPTION:Information provided by founders and funders Chris and Laura Grant: \nCalgary Bike Swap is a non-profit bicycle buy and/or sell and/or donate event that is always the first Saturday in May in Calgary. \nWe safety check bikes brought in for sale between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and run the bike details through our proprietary software to verify that the bike has not been flagged as stolen. At 2 p.m. we let people in with stolen bike police reports (where no one has ever found their stolen bike).  At 2:30 p.m. we open the floodgates to bike buyers where everyone has their elbows up\, children included. \nThis years event takes place on Saturday\, May 3\, 2025 at the City Centre Parkade 340-10 Ave SW from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. \nFull details available at https://albertabikeswap.ca/events/calgary/.
