DESCRIPTION:Information provided by founders and funders Chris and Laura Grant: \nCalgary Bike Swap is a non-profit bicycle buy and/or sell and/or donate event that is always the first Saturday in May in Calgary. \nWe safety check bikes brought in for sale between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and run the bike details through our proprietary software to verify that the bike has not been flagged as stolen. Their trials and tribulations reveal the bicycle’s unique power to change lives and help build a better world. Covering many different global issues—from climate change and indigenous trauma to socio-economic inequality and more livable cities —The Engine Inside sparks hope and agency in everyone it touches.
