Didn’t know where to post this, so I just selected BIKE ADVOCACY; I think Bike Calgary is a great resource and I joined it years ago as a “Friend of Bike Calgary”. I don’t figure it cost me anything, because I netted my initial donation back to me many-fold via discounts at participating bike shops etc. Hopefully, our continued patronage makes it a Win-Win-Win situation for them too.
There is not a requirement to keep on making annual donations, but it seems to me the right thing to do, especially since the work that Bike Calgary performs continues to be needed, and it still really doesn’t cost me out of pocket anything in the long run. So I try to remember every year to make a new contribution, which I have just done for 2023. I encourage my fellow Happy Calgarian Bikers to think along this track. Happy New Year All! Keep The Rubber Side Down.
