What should I expect to pay for S tronic clutch replacement near ICAD?

My Audi A3 has been jerking badly when pulling away from a stop and sometimes the gearbox hesitates before engaging which is getting worse every week. I took it to a garage near ICAD and the guy told me the S tronic clutch pack is worn and needs replacing. He gave me a rough number but it felt like he was guessing and I want to know what is realistic before I commit. I have been searching for a quick look at S tronic clutch replacement costs near ICAD because I do not want to be caught off guard when the proper quote comes in. What is a reasonable price range for this job on an A3 and does it vary a lot between workshops? Also how do I know if the clutch really needs replacing or if it is just a software or mechatronics issue that is cheaper to fix? I am worried about paying for a clutch when the real problem is something else. If anyone has had this done in Abu Dhabi please share what you paid and whether the workshop was honest with you.
