Book Launch Party and Bike Expo

Meet author Lori Beattie and get a signed copy of her new book, Calgary’s Best Bike Rides at this celebration of biking in Calgary.

• When: June 5 (Sunday)
• Time: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
• Where: Calgary Central Library, Level 1 in the Patricia Whelan Performance Hall (near the entrance).

Lori will lead you on a visual tour of Calgary’s Best Bike Rides in her book launch presentation that kick starts her Calgary’s Best Bike Rides series that runs all summer in partnership with the Calgary Public Library. Come on down to the library and chat with bike experts from bike shops and bike organizations and stick around for the bike panel discussion on a range of topics from Ebikes to bike packing. From avid cyclists to newcomers, everyone is welcome to join our celebration of biking in Calgary. There will be fantastic bike-themed door prizes given out throughout the event!

More details and who will be there:

• 1:30-1:40: Door prize tickets are given out as you arrive. There will be many prizes given out throughout the event.
• 1:40 pm: Murray Lee introduces Lori and she presents Calgary’s Best Bike Rides.
• 2:20 pm: Bike experts from the resources fair join the stage to talk about all things biking. Muray Lee leads the discussion and audience members can also ask questions.
• 2:50 pm: Explore the resources fair as the formal part of the event ends.
