Hi all,

I was checking out the City of Calgary Engage page for Bowness Road Main Street through Montgomery. The City has proposed what looks to me a fairly comprehensive multimodal complete street that includes all ages and abilities cycling accommodation on raised cycle tracks (off-street or parking protected) and also incorporates all other elements necessary to promote a successful streetscape (pedestrian mobility, parking, visual appeal, etc).

I had forgotten all about this until I went out last fall for a little look-aroundsie and came across them putting some finishing touches in.

It was looking really good and I’m looking forward to checking out the completed project at some point.
