Starting November 1, 2022, 15 Street N.E. and the nearby Rotary Mattamy Greenway pathway will be closed to build the new Keystone Storm Trunk, a large underground pipe that will carry treated stormwater from storm ponds in new developments in north Calgary to Nose Creek. This will ensure nearby communities and businesses have an adequate underground pipe system to manage stormwater. The closure will be in place until the project is complete in Spring 2023. See the yellow line on the map attached for the location of the pathway that will be impacted.
Pathway Impacts
- The Rotary Mattamy Greenway pathway will be closed from 15 Street N.E. to 11 Street N.E. starting November 1, 2022. The pathway will remain closed until Spring 2023.
- Due to the location of construction, a pathway detour will not be in place.
