November 2022 – Urgent Call
Our most urgent one-time volunteer need is for the 2023-2026 City of Calgary Budget Sessions. Council is meeting November 21-25 to decide the City budget priorities for the next four years. Bike Calgary wants to make sure Council hears loud and clear that Active Transportation is a priority for Calgarians.
There are a couple of options to do this:
- Send a message to your City Councilor as per: URGENT CALL-OUT: November 21-25 is budget week at the City of Calgary – Let your voices be heard! – Bike Calgary
- Speak directly to Council in support of Active Transportation during their public hearings – we’ll help you sign-up and get ready.
- If the spotlight isn’t for you, you can help us review the proposed budget document and draft our response.

| Event Coordinator | – Work with Volunteer Coordinator to plan key events (i.g Bike to Work Day, volunteer appreciation, speaker series, etc.), and respond to event requests | Ongoing – 10 hours / month (busier in the summer) |
