The ride is inclusive so all ages who ride bikes, rollerblade, use a scooter or skateboard are invited. This ride is particularly timely in light of new safety rules approved by City Council allowing more types of users on the cycle tracks. Bike Calgary is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Communitywise (223 12 Ave SW). We will have a keynote speaker present on the upcoming Winter Cycling Congress, tell you about what we've done over the last year, cover some board business (financials), and elect up to four new Board members. Doors open at 6:30 pm; the meeting starts at 7:00. Interested in becoming more active in Bike Calgary? Consider running for a role on the Board of Directors! Lawrence Hong Advocacy Award Lawrence was a tireless advocate for all modes of transportation, and volunteered with Calgary Car Share, Arusha Open Streets, Bike Calgary, Cyclepalooza and countless others.
